What's the Difference?
There is no difference between regular enemies and hardened enemies when it comes to damage output. However, some enemies may be harder to kill with certain weapons than others, depending on the flux required to craft the ammunition. For example, hardened enemies may require more ammo to kill than regular enemies, but the damage output will be the same. Additionally, prime receivers can add 1 damage on top of the best regular receiver, such as hardened. This makes prime receivers slightly better than hardened receivers, but the difference is negligible.
Which One Should You Use?
Ultimately, the best receiver for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences. If you are looking for the most damage output possible, then you should use a prime receiver. However, if you are concerned about ammo conservation, then you may want to use a hardened receiver instead.
